The Keystone Wood Products Association (KWPA) strives to strengthen and expand the base of lumber and wood products manufacturers in the Central Pennsylvania region in order to maintain and enhance the industry’s competitive position in today’s global economy. Allegheny Hardwood Utlization Group
The Allegheny Hardwood Utilization Group's (AHUG) primary goal is to meet the challenges facing the forest industry today to ensure the economic health of the existing forest industry and to attract secondary utilization in fourteen counties in northwestern Pennsylvania. AHUG monitors regulatory and legislative actions and responds according to membership needs, and works closely with federal, stare and local representatives to educate them on industry problems, concerns, and needs and the importance of a healthy business climate for the future of Pennsylvania. Counties served include: Cameron, Clarion, Clearfield, Crawford, Elk, Erie, Forest, Jefferson, Lawrence, McKean, Mercer, Potter, Venango, and Warren.

Northern Tier Hardwood Association
The mission of the Northern Tier Hardwood Association (NTHA) is to promote the long-term economic development of the forest products industry in nine counties in northeastern Pennsylvania through intelligent forest management, careful expansion of primary and secondary wood processing, improved manufacturing methods and regional hardwood promotion. The forest products industry in this region has historically remained one of the region's stable and leading sources of employment and is essential to the local rural economy. Counties served are: Bradford, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Pike, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Tioga, Wayne and Wyoming.

Pennsylvania Hardwoods Development Council
The Pennsylvania Hardwoods Development Council (HDC) promotes the forest products industry statewide in cooperation with the three regional hardwood utilization groups that cover all of northern and central Pennsylvania. The HDC offers assistance directly to companies in southwestern, south central, and southeastern Pennsylvania along with the Lehigh Valley and Southern Allegheny regions.
